YARAC uses Soccer to organise and connect young people around Democratic issues, Conflict issues, HIV/AIDs, Community organising and other relevant activities that will enable young people contribute to their immediate communities in Jos Plateau State Nigeria.

Six Canadian young people (Lori Ryan, Natasha Halpin, Tara Hurford, Mandisa Peterson, Innah Gaspar and Tana Kayler) sacrificed their savings and summer holiday for an experience sharing visit to YARAC Nigeria in July 2008. During the visit they interacted with youth groups working with YARAC and experienced YARAC technique on Soccer for Democracy and transformative theatre to do community organizing for a period of three weeks.

It is in YARAC 's character to establish a cordial working relationship with her partners to enhance a conducive working atmosphere. on the 23rd of June 2009 YARAC was in the Ministry of Education Plateau State Nigeria to pay an Advocacy visit to Professor Mrs. Angela Miri who was recently appointed as the Hon. Commissioner for Education in Plateau State Nigeria
